Glazed Orange Bundt Cake
Soft, spongy and delicious, this glazed orange bundt cake is super simple and it is an eggfree cake with full of flavours from fresh orange juice and orange zest.
Christmas is just around the corner and it is the time of the year when one is engaged so much in baking goodies and especially cakes. Apart from baking Christmas plum cakes I love baking sponge cakes for friends and families which is a perfect tea cake to serve your guest visiting you during this festive season. And today I am sharing a cake which I love baking during this festive season and it is Glazed Orange Bundt Cake.
Don’t you love baking bundt cakes? For me I love baking bundt cakes and always feel extra excited when the bundt cakes comes out of the oven perfectly baked. I love the lovely beautiful shape of the bundt and the amount of glaze I will pour over it. Orange cakes are one of my favourite. This sugar glazed orange cake is one of my favourite.
This Whole Wheat Orange Cake from my blog is super moist. You definitely will love this one. Its eggless, fragrant, moistened super soft made with freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest.
This glazed orange bundt cake is an egg free cake. I have replaced eggs with curd / yogurt and have added fresh orange juice and orange zest in a simple cake batter. The cake turns out so flavourful, soft and spongy.

This cake is super simple and a foolproof recipe. Soft, fluffy and delicious. It is also one of the superhit cake that I have been baking for long and it is still one of my favourite. The cake itself is so good but the cherry on the cake is the orange glaze which takes the cake to the top.

This orange bundt cake doesn’t last in my house. I love its soft and spongy texture with full of orange flavour. This serves as a great dessert as well as a perfect tea partner. All of the above recipes are super easy to prepare, ready in no time, and will never disappoint you.
☆ Measuring cup used is 240 ml
Ingredients:
1 Cup Maida / All purpose flour
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Orange juice
¼ cup Oil
½ tsp Baking powder
½ tsp Baking soda
¼ cup Curd
2 tsp Orange zest
½ tsp Vanilla essence
For orange glaze:
2 tbsp orange juice
½ cup confectioners sugar
¼ tsp orange zest
Method :
Take the curd and baking soda in a bowl, stir well and make it smooth. Keep aside while you make ready the other ingredients.
Sieve the flours and baking powder and keep aside.
Add sugar, orange juice, oil in the curd mixture, stir and let sugar melt. Add the vanilla essence and stir.
Add the dry ingredients into it and make a smooth batter. Add the orange zest and mix gently.
Grease a cake pan and preheat oven @180° for 10 mins.
Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 30-35 mins. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
Remove the cake from oven and let it stand for about 5 mins. Demould and let it cool down.
Meanwhile prepare the glaze. In a bowl add the orane juice, confectioners sugar, orange zest and whisk well till smooth. If required add some more orange juice.
Pour or drizzle the orange glaze over the cake in your own style, cut and serve.

- ¼ cup fresh orange juice (60 ml)
- ¼ cup oil (60 ml)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder

- ¼ cup curd/yogurt
- 2 teaspoon orange zest
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
For Orange Glaze:
- 2 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- ½ cup confectioners sugar or powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon orange zest
Instructions
