Don’t have an oven? But wanna have a baked chicken or try a baked chicken recipe? Here I am with a simple, quick and easy recipe which you can easily make at home using a pan over gas top.
Pan Baked Chicken Leg on a bed of tossed veggies is a scrumptious and delicious dish. It is a filling and complete dish in itself.
The Chicken is cooked perfectly. It is an amazing and irresistible dish. The chicken is succulent, juicy and taste heavenly in every bite with butter tossed veggies.
Here the chicken is marinated with szechwan sauce, cracked pepper and chopped garlic for couple of mins and baked to perfection and finishes off by tossing along with the veggies and soya sauce.

Serves – 1-2
Ingredients:
Whole Chicken Leg – 1 large
Pepper – 1 tsp
Garlic – 6 chopped
Schezwan Sauce – 3 tsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Capsicum – 1 thinly sliced
Carrot – 1 thinly sliced
Onion – 1 thinly sliced
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Shredded cheese for garnish
Method :
Take the washed chicken leg. Make slashes on it with a knife.
In a bowl add salt, pepper, garlic, 2 tsp schezwan sauce, 1 tsp butter, mix well. Take the chicken and rub the mixture all over the chicken. Let it marinate for sometime.
In a pan heat the oil. Lower the heat and lay the chicken leg. Cover the pan and cook for about 15 mins flipping the sides frequently for even cooking and prevent from burning it.
Add the thinly sliced capsicum, carrots, onion, Soya sauce, remaining schzewan sauce and butter, mix well and saute all together nicely. Cover the pan and cook till the water released by the veggies is evaporated completely which will take around 5-10 mins.
Remove them in a plate sprinkle some shredded cheese and serve. With cheese it enhances the taste more.

Hi may I know where I can get the Schezwan Sauce. I am from Singapore. Any brand? The soya sauce is it light or dark sauce. Thanks

We get schezwan sauce in grocery shops here in India..any brand will do..I used light soya sauce 🙂
