So here’s my 50th blog post with an easy and healthier steamed chicken recipe.

Steaming is a very popular method of cooking in most part of North East India. Steamed Chicken is an easy peasy recipe which is prepared with few basic ingredients. It is a zero oil chicken dish where chicken along with the ingredients are wrapped in banana leaf and steamed in a steamer.

It is a super easy and at the same time a very delicious dish. The chicken is succulent, tender and juicy.

Steamed dishes are simple, quick and always tender in texture. For the authentic taste, flavour and health related issues I recommend to use banana leaf for wrapping the chicken. If you are unable to source the banana leaf you can use aluminium foil to wrap the chicken.
