Tricolor Semiya Payasam with step by step pictures. Semiya Payasam is a South Indian style dessert recipe. This classic dessert recipe is one of the easiest dessert which can be made under 20 mins. It is an easy and quick recipe for any festive occasion.
Vermicelli Payasam is made with milk, condensed milk, vermicelli and nuts. I have also used 2 food colour to add colour to the vermicelli as I wanted to make it in tricolor theme.
This delicious sweets/dessert can be served hot, warm or chilled. Either way it taste tasty and delicious. You can make this dessert ahead of time and refrigerate it to serve chilled.
I have used used condensed milk to add more richness to the recipe. If you want you can opt that and add sugar according to your taste. Since my vermicelli was already ghee roasted one I have not roasted the Vermicelli before cooking it.
Tricolor Vanilla Cake is another interesting tricolor recipe from the blog. Do have a look at the easy eggless vanilla cake recipe, you might love to try it.
