Today’s post is about a raw salad using yardlong beans. An easy peasy recipe where we can involved our kids too while making the salad. The salad is made of raw long beans and few vegetables seasoned with salt and pepper. There is no cooking involved in this recipe; one of the easiest salad recipe with just a handful of easily available ingredients.
This beans salad is a scrumptious salad and a wholesome meal in itself. It is a naga style salad which is a part of Naga meal. Easy to make and tasty with the crunch coming out from the fresh veggies.
I love this beans in any form: be it raw salad, boiled, stir fried or in soups. I love the crunchiness of it in salads. We nagas add this beans to roasted green chilly tomato dry fish chutney. Yum it is 🤤

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 0 minutes
Serves : 3
3 cups Yardlong Beans chopped
1 large Onion chopped
2-3 Green Chillies
1 large Tomato chopped
1 inch Ginger chopped
2-3 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
Juice of half Lemon
Pepper for seasoning
Salt for seasoning
Chopped all the vegetables and keep ready.
In a mixing bowl add all the chopped vegetables
Season with salt and pepper and squeeze the lime juice.
Mix well and serve. Enjoy!
