Baked Chicken Legs recipe is the perfect way to make juicy and tender chicken that your whole family will love! These whole chicken legs are coated in a simple, and flavorful marinade, then baked to perfection.

- 4 whole chicken legs
- 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- As per taste salt
- 2 tablespoon curd / yogurt
- 2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon chilly flakes
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 teaspoon mango powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon black salt
- 2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 3-4 teaspoon oil
- few onion salad for serving
- few lemon slices fo seeving
Take the washed chicken leg and pat dry with kitchen towel. Make slashes on it with a knife.
Add the chicken to a bowl. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder. Lemon juice, salt and rub them nicely over the chicken. Let it stand for 10-15 min.
Next add all the remaining ingredients, mix nicely and rub the chicken well with the marinate ingredients. Let it marinate. The longer the better. I Kept for 4 hrs.
Take the marinated chicken Leg. Mix well again. In a baking try lay the chicken legs in single layer.
Preheat oven to 180° C for 10 minutes and bake for 30 mins. Turn sides every 5-10 mins.
Increase the temperature to 200° and bake for 10 mins more, 5 mins on each side.
Serve the baied chicken with dip or sauce of your choice. I served with onion salad and lemon.
