Homemade Pizza Base (No Yeast Pizza Dough)

This homemade pizza dough is a super fast and simple recipe made without yeast and SO easy to make! A no yeast pizza dough made of only 6 main ingredients with no fancy ingredients, equipment and techniques. It just require a bowl; no stand mixer, no proofing and no resting.

Ingredients
  

  • 1½ cup all purpose flour (192 grams)
  • 3 tablespoon  curd (yogurt)
  • 1 teaspoon  baking soda
  • ¼ cup milk (60 ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon  salt
  • ½ teaspoon  sugar (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon  olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, sugar and salt.
    1½ cup all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon  baking soda, ½ teaspoon  sugar, ¼ teaspoon  salt
  • In a small bowl whisk together curd and oil.
    3 tablespoon  curd, 2 tablespoon  olive oil
  • Add the curd oil mixture to the flour mixture and stir together the ingredients until combined.
  • Add the milk in parts and form a dough.
    ¼ cup milk
  • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes or untill a smooth and soft dough is achieved. (Do not over-knead the dough.)
  • Place a damp towel over the dough and let it rest for few minutes while making your pizza toppings ready.
  • Divide the dough into 2 portions. Form desired shape and roll it out into ½ inch thickness.
  • Place the base in a greased baking tray and slightly stretch to make 7-7½ inch circle.
  • Fold over the edges to form the outer crust and prick it all over with a help of a fock.
  • Preheat oven at 180° C for 10 minutes. Pre-bake the base at preheated oven @180° C for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and use the base for making pizza with your favourite sauce, toppings and cheese.

Notes

  1. Any other neutral flavored oil can be used instead of olive oil.
  2. Milk can be replaced with water.
  3. All purpose flour can be substituted with whole wheat flour.
  4. Sugar is optional.
  5. Do not over bake the crust.
  6. You can also store it in the refrigerator for upto a week.
