500 gms Chicken
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 green cardamom
4 cloves
1 inch cinnamon stick
2-3 tbsp oil
2 green chilly chopped
2 onion sliced
1 sprig Curry leaves
1 tomato sliced
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp pepper cracked or powder
Few coriander leaves chopped

Instructions :

In a bowl add the chicken pieces, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, mix well and serve aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and let it crackle.

Add onion, green chilly, curry leaves and saute till onion turns soft.

Add tomato and saute till tomato turns mushy.

Add the masala powders – cumin, garam masala, coriander, pepper and saute for a minute.

Add the chicken, stir and mix well with the masala.

Cook the chicken for about 10 minutes on high heat stirring it frequently.

Add salt if required, now reduce the heat and cook the chicken on low heat with the lid on for another 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked completely stirring it occasionally to avoid the chicken from sticking to the pan.

Turn off the heat, add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Your chicken masala fry is ready to be served.
