Cold Sandwich (Salad Sandwich) / Russian Salad Sandwich / No Cooking Recipe

Cold Sandwich, a quick and easy salad sandwich recipe which can be made in jiffy. A healthy and colourful salad sandwich. I have used white sandwich bread since my kid doesn’t like brown bread. You can use brown bread or multi grain bread for more healthier version. This is one of the best way to make kids have veggies.

This easy cold sandwich is full of flavour, texture and colour. It’s perfect for your lunchbox or kids tiffin box or as a quick snacks at home. This delicous and healthful recipe will satisfy the whole family.

Serves : 3

Ingredients:
4 White sandwich bread
½ cup Cucumber finely chopped
¼ cup Red Capsicum finely chopped
¼ cup Green Capsicum finely chopped
¼ cup onions finely chopped
1 small carrot finely chopped
Few chopped coriander leaves
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning
3 tbsps hung curd/yogurt
3 tbsps Mayonnaise
2 tbsps ketchup
1 tbsp Chilly Sauce (optional)
Cracked peppercorns for seasoning
Salt for seasoning

Method :

Finely chop the veggies using hand chopper.

Take the bread slices, cut off the sides and keep aside.

In a mixing bowl add hung curd, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, chilly sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

Next add the chopped veggies into the bowl and mix them well together.

Take a bread slice and apply a thick layer of the Veggie mixture evenly. Cover it with the other bread slice, cut as desired shape and serve.
