Today I am going to share a unique, innovative and a delish recipe. This Pork Salad Sandwich is a scrumptious and a filling dish. It is a meal in itself that will keep you going.

The salad is super fresh with the crunch coming out of the veggies and divine taste from the juicy pork is heavenly. It taste even better than they look😉

Ingredients:

  • Pork – 200 gms
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Bread – 4 slices
  • Onion – 1 thinly sliced
  • Green Chilly – 1 large finely chopped
  • Cucumber – 1 small finely chopped
  • Red Capsicum – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Cabbage a handful thinly sliced
  • Sandwich spread or Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Chilly flakes – 1 tbsp
  • Cheese slice – 2
  • Grated cheese – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter to grease the tawa

Method:

In a pressure cooker add the pork pieces, water, salt to taste and pressure cook for 10-15 whistles. Remove and evaporate the water completely. Cut the pork into thinly sliced pieces.

In a mixing bowl add the pork slices, the veggies, mayonnaise, grated cheese, chilly flakes, salt to taste and mix them well. Your pork salad is ready.

For making the sandwich, take one slice of bread and lay one cheese slice over the bread. Fill the bread with the pork salad and level it nicely. Place the other bread slice over it. Continue the same the process with the remaining ones.

Now heat a tawa and grease it with butter. Layer the sandwiches over it and toast with on both sides till brown.

Cut into desired shapes and serve.
